If your business has outgrown its systems and you need someone to build the operational foundation your growth requires, that's exactly what The Sunday Standard was built for. Not another consultant who hands you a document and walks away.
For 11 years, I was the execution bridge between ownership and operations for a multi-location service business, leading cross-functional projects, building systems from scratch, and creating structure in complex, fast-paced environments.
When I stepped into my husband's family appliance service business in 2014, I knew nothing about appliances. What I knew was how to look at a mess of a situation, figure out what was actually breaking, and build something that held. The business had three people, no systems, no documented processes, and no operational foundation. Every decision lived in someone's head. Nothing was repeatable. Nothing was scalable.
So I built it. From scratch, with real money on the line and no safety net underneath me.
HI, I'M BREANNE. I BUILT THE SUNDAY STANDARD BECAUSE I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IT TAKES TO BUILD OPERATIONS THAT SCALE, AND I KNOW WHAT BREAKS WHEN A BUSINESS TRIES TO GROW WITHOUT THE RIGHT FOUNDATION UNDERNEATH IT.
And when systems fail, the founder becomes the bottleneck. Every decision circles back to them. Every initiative stalls when their attention shifts. The business grows but the foundation underneath it cannot keep pace. That is the Growth Gap. I watched it happen from the inside. I know exactly what it costs and exactly what it takes to fix it.
That is the EXPERIENCE I bring to every engagement.
The most important thing I learned over those 11 years is this: systems don't fail because they're poorly designed. They fail because they're not built for the reality of how teams actually work. They fail because no one owns them after they're built. They fail because the founder never had time to document the process that only exists in their head
Every decision I made had consequences. There was no corporate budget to absorb a bad call, no senior leadership team to escalate to, and no safety net if something broke. That environment built a kind of operational instinct you cannot get from a textbook or a consulting firm. You learn what holds under pressure and what falls apart the moment the business grows faster than the systems underneath it.
Over 11 years I became the execution bridge between ownership and operations. I led cross-functional projects end to end. I built the systems, processes, and operational infrastructure that took that business from three people and no structure to two locations, a capable team, and a high six-figure operation. I helped triple revenue with a team of five to six people.
I built The Sunday Standard because I kept seeing the same pattern everywhere. Bootstrapped founders who were smart, capable, and working harder than anyone should have to, but stuck because no one had ever built the operational foundation their business actually needed. They didn't need more advice. They needed someone to build it with them and stay until it held.
That is what I do. I diagnose what is breaking, design what needs to be built, and execute it alongside the team. I do not hand over a report and walk away. I stay until it is built, adopted, and running. And then I make sure the team can maintain it without needing me to hold it together.
Your business should not need me forever. That is the goal from day one.
After more than a decade as the operational backbone of a business that never fully stopped, I made a decision to protect one day. Not because I stopped caring about the work. Because I learned that the clearest thinking, the best decisions, and the most sustainable execution come from someone who has actually had space to breathe. Sunday became that space. It became the standard I set for myself.
Sunday Energy is what I now help my clients build into how they operate. Not a vibe. Not a lifestyle. A way of running a business that creates calm instead of crisis, that produces clarity instead of chaos, and that lets the founder step back from running the business and start leading it.
That is The Sunday Standard.
I am a working mom, a solopreneur, and someone who knows firsthand what it costs to build something from nothing. I built TSS on my own terms because I believe the best work comes from people who have protected their own foundation first.
If your business has outpaced its systems and you need someone who will actually build the operational foundation with you, not just tell you what it should look like, I would love to talk.
work with Me
I'm not here to audit and disappear. I work alongside your team, building systems they can maintain and improving operations without adding complexity or creating unnecessary disruption.
The best system is the one your team will actually use. I build for real-world conditions, messy handoffs, and competing priorities, not ideal scenarios that look good on paper and fall apart in practice.
I don't just tell you what to fix. I build the systems, document the processes, and lead the implementation alongside your team. You get solutions that work, not a report you have to act on alone.
